I have to apologize to you guys. Today was the beginning of my spring break and, well, I was just plain ol' lazy! I stayed in bed and caught up on Big Bang Theory since I had missed all of last season with classes. I promised, to myself more than anyone else, that I would blog daily, so I thought I would keep you all up to date on some posts that will be coming soon. The countdown continues until Arv's visit and I get more and more excited everyday. My beautiful niece's birthday is this week! Gay teen suicide is on the rise and what we can do to help prevent it. And I want to do a post on more effective ways of handling the Gay Marriage Vs Religion debates. Look for all of these in the coming days. Sorry for taking the day off, but I needed to recharge my batteries. Love to all.

Smarter Then The Average Bear
Take a look around you. Have you noticed what I have? That the world seems to be getting...well,...stupid? If you have, you are not alone. Einstein warned us about the possibility, and too many did not take heed. It has become unfortunate that so many people, particularly the younger people, have made the assumption that technology is the all knowing and that it should do all the thinking for us. Wake up you fools before it is too late. Technology was never meant to do the thinking for us, it was meant to make life easier as a tool, not the brain. We have slowly become slaves to our own devices. Now I am not preaching that the machines are taking over, or that we must avoid technology. I am simply saying we should use it in the manner it was meant to be. It was meant to free us up to achieve better things, not become complacent in our positions and expect the world at our finger tips. All too often I hear, 'Don't we have a computer to do that?" as an answer to any challenges in life. There is no sense of yearning for knowledge anymore. If we find ourselves with a problem, we use "Google" for the answer. Never forget, technology is only as smart as the person putting information into it. Do you expect anyone with access to WebMD to be a Dr? Gawd, I hope not! Do you expect anyone with access to YouTube to be a Mechanic because he or she saw a video on how to repair a car? So people, Stop being lazy. Use the tools for advancing your learning, not to be the great oracle with all the answers. I will get off my soap box now, as I am done with this tool for now. Love to all.
